April Recap

It was a busy month of April for the Roe Canada Film team!  Here are some updates:

Getting Ready for Final Leg of Filming: National March for Life, May 11, Ottawa 

After months on the road, Josie and Ruth will present their findings in front of thousands on Parliament Hill at the National March for Life in Ottawa on May 11. Plan to be there!  For details visit www.marchforlife.ca

Film Screening of Early Cut of ROE Canada, May 9, Ottawa 

A few days before the National March for Life, DunnMedia will present an early cut of the film at the Shenkman Theatre in Orleans. We hope to raise awareness of the film and our crowdfunding campaign, and solicit feedback.  Click here for your free ticket.  More screenings will take place later in the year when the film is officially released. 

Post Production of ROE Canada in Full Swing 

For the past few months, we’ve continued the editing process of ROE Canada, which will feature the best moments from our filming in Washington, Florida, Toronto, St. John’s and Ottawa.  Seen here are principal investigators Josie Luetke and Ruth Robert recording narration in Hamilton and St. John’’s respectively.

Josie interviews retired abortionist Dr. Fraser Fellows 

While there are many things that Josie and Dr. Fellows disagree on, both agree that meaningful dialogue on issues like abortion is paramount. Their eye-opening exchange in the film provides a lot of food for thought.
